LUVERNE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Tomorrow at 9:00am the seniors will have their commencement practice. Afterwards they will do their annual walk-through of the students throughout the buildings. At the end, in our new alumni garden, they will ring the bell before they leave the campus. This is the first year we are doing this. At the beginning of the school year, each of the seniors rang the bell to start the year, and tomorrow they will ring the bell to end the year. As parents, you are welcome to come watch, video, and take pictures if you would like. That will be around 10:00am.

The annual LHS Awards Night is tonight at 8:00pm in the PAC. Tonight is a celebration of the achievements of our students and an expression of the tremendous support that our community and alumni provide for Luverne students. Pops Concert Info and Important Reminders:
Our Middle and High School choirs Pops Concert is TONIGHT! Performances are at 6:30 and 8:00pm in the PAC. Doors for the first performance open at about 5:45pm and passes are accepted. All tickets are sold ONLINE only with no cash sales at the door. There will be a card reader with Apple Pay, debit or credit card sales available.

Our 6th–12th grade bands will perform their spring concert on Friday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. For those who cannot attend, the concert will be livestreamed on LuvTV and CardinalVision.

Tickets for this Saturday's Prom Grand March are on sale now in the High School office during regular school hours until Friday at 2:30pm. Tickets for all K-12 students and adults are $5 and cash only.

Grand March begins at 7:00pm Saturday and will be in both the Classic Gym and the Performing Arts Center. The building will open at 5:00pm and those with Preferred Seating tickets (the 2 free tickets that each Junior and Senior student can pick up this week) can be seated at 6:00pm. Those with pre-sale tickets (the tickets on sale now) will be seated beginning at 6:15pm. General admission tickets (sold at the door Saturday night, cash only) will be seated at 6:30pm.

Grand March will also be livestreamed on our CardinalVision YouTube page for those unable to attend in person.

Luverne Prom is this Saturday, April 25! Here is this year's schedule of events for the day. We are excited to share "Aces and Elegance"" with our juniors and seniors and their guests!

We just received an update from MNDOT on an update of construction that will effect all getting to school starting tomorrow. Barck St will now not have access to Hwy 75. See attached map.

A message from Luverne Public Schools

Reminder the HS/MS has parent-teacher conferences Thursday night from 4-7pm in the classic gym.

Luverne schools will be two hours late tomorrow. Discovery time is 10-12 and 1:15-3:15.

Our high school band and choirs will be performing tonight in their annual clinician concerts. The band concert will begin at 5:00 PM, and the choir concert will begin at 7:00 PM. Admission is free. For those who cannot attend, the concerts will be streamed on LuvTV and CardinalVision.

Drew Brockington will be visiting with Luverne Elementary students on March 16 & 17.
He will be at the Nexus Vault March 16 at 6:30pm to meet with parents and members of the community!

Luverne was well represented at the state BPA conference in Minneapolis this past weekend. 35 students participated in the three day event. Autumn Bailey & Hazel Sailor placed top 9 in Website Design. Congrats to all!
