We will review MSHSL eligibility requirements, activities department expectations, important dates, and information families need for the upcoming fall season. We ask that each student-athlete attend with at least one parent/guardian.

NEW THIS YEAR - BOUND
Luverne Public Schools has transitioned to Bound for schedules, scores, rosters, online ticketing, and other athletic information.

REMINDERS
✅ Create a Bound account.
✅ A new MSHSL Eligibility Form must be completed each school year (found in Bound when you create your family - athlete account).
✅ Student-athletes must have a current paper form, sports physical on file with the office and physical date entered in Bound. Physicals are valid for 3 years.
✅ Payment can be made in Bound. Cash or check is also accepted in the MS/HS office.

Programs Available for Luverne School District Families

Two programs available to students in PreK–12th grade:

Backpack Program:

Students receive a bag of food at the end of each week to help supplement their family’s food needs over the weekend. If you would like to sign up for this - Please email our School Social Worker at s.schepel@isd2184.net

Free School Supplies:

Join us tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to send-off our 2026 State Track and Field athletes as they depart for State! Meet on the south side of LHS at 9:15am or line Main Street downtown between 9:15-9:30am Wednesday to show your support for the team as they leave town. Go Cardinals!

State Sendoff Image- Meet on Wednesday, June 3 at 9:15 am by the new south main entrance to wish them well!

Tomorrow at 9:00am the seniors will have their commencement practice. Afterwards they will do their annual walk-through of the students throughout the buildings. At the end, in our new alumni garden, they will ring the bell before they leave the campus. This is the first year we are doing this. At the beginning of the school year, each of the seniors rang the bell to start the year, and tomorrow they will ring the bell to end the year. As parents, you are welcome to come watch, video, and take pictures if you would like. That will be around 10:00am.
