History:

The Luverne Baseball Association (LBA) was formed in 1997 as a charitable cororpation. The association as organized to help promote and educate children and adults about the sport of baseball. The LBA contributions extend to T-ball, Little League, 7th and 8th grade summer league, VFW, American Legion, and the town team, the Redbirds.

The LBA has worked very hard to help provide fields and equipment to the youth of our community. Their focus has been on baseball but they have also worked hard to make improvements to the softball fields as well. Some of their accomplishments have been the installation of the new fences and dugouts at the Little League fields, as well as a new concession stand which was contsructed in 2006.

 

 

This is the new scoreboard that will be up for the 2008 baseball season. The scoreboard is from Daktronics and will be paid mostly by advertisment.
